The Grants Assistant is responsible for assisting in the efficient and effective implementation of the WCYFS policies and procedures related to grants management. The Grants Assistant collaborates with and builds interdependent working relationships with other teams to facilitate responsible and efficient grant making and reporting across programs. As an additional point of contact on grant compliance, the Grants Assistant ensures that WCYFS adheres to legal requirements of various contracts, including private foundations and local, county, state, and federal contracts. In addition, the Grants Assistant supports agency-wide projects and initiatives related to process improvement, technology, procedures, and/or grant data.

Shelter Program Specialist (Graveyard Shift) (Swing)

Women’s Center-Youth & Family Services is hiring a Full-time (Exempt) Shelter Program Specialist. The Shelter Program Specialist provides intervention services to support the healing of families, individuals, and children that have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, and the aftermath of such victimizations, including human trafficking and youth homelessness. These services may include but are not limited to crisis intervention; support services, including peer counseling, educational classes, support groups, and case management; and after-care services. Program Specialists work directly with Program Managers or Coordinators to ensure effective interventions for client cases and/or to address obstacles and barriers clients may be facing. Program Specialist may focus on one area of responsibilities, based on community and program needs and contract/funding source requirements. Bilingual/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Crisis Program Specialist

Women’s Center-Youth & Family Services is hiring a Full-time (Non-Exempt) Crisis Program Specialist. The Crisis Program Specialist provides crisis intervention to hotline callers and in-person walk-ins at all WCYFS locations and other satellite locations. The Specialist provides on-call support to the hospital and the Child Advocacy Center to provide crisis intervention, accompaniment, and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault and their family members and/or significant others. This position interacts with law enforcement, medical personnel, Victim Witness advocates, and Child Protective Services on behalf of the victim and in the victim's best interest. Other general duties include assisting with Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) clinics, participating in the 24/7 on-call Sexual Assault Response Team, providing educational presentations to various community service organizations, and other related duties as assigned. Bilingual/Spanish preferred, but not required.
