Transitional Aged Youth Specialist 

Women’s Center-Youth & Family Services is hiring a Full-time (Non-Exempt) Transitional Aged-Youth (TAY) Specialist. TAY Specialist utilizes the Transition to Independence Process (TIP) to provide a strengths-based mentoring approach to transitional aged youth (TAY) – those who are between the ages of 16 and 24 years old – that are experiencing educational, social, emotional, and life-skills challenges. This position is primarily responsible for engaging youth and developing the skills and qualities needed to increase selfsustainability and independence. The TAY Specialist works in collaboration with the Outreach team and reports directly to the Program Coordinator. Bilingual/Spanish preferred, but not required.

General Case Manager 

Women’s Center-Youth & Family Services is hiring a Full-time (Non-Exempt) General Case Manager. The General Case Manager provides differential response, case management or concrete support services, and/or post-reunification or aftercare case management services to families referred by the Child Welfare System, Child Protective Services (CPS), and internal programs to maintain the family unit and prevent or reduce the risk of families entering or re-entering the Child Welfare System. This position is primarily responsible for engaging families and connecting them with resources and services to build resilience again risk factors, learn skills to improve family dynamics, alleviate stressors within the family unit, etc. The Case Manager works in collaboration with the Case Manangement/Support Services team and reports directly to the Program Coordinator. Bilingual/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Program Specialists work directly with Program Managers or Coordinators to ensure effective interventions for client cases and/or to address obstacles and barriers clients may be facing. Program Specialist may focus on one area of responsibilities, based on community and program needs and contract/funding source requirements. Bilingual/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Crisis Program Specialist

Women’s Center-Youth & Family Services is hiring a Full-time (Non-Exempt) Crisis Program Specialist. The Crisis Program Specialist provides crisis intervention to hotline callers and in-person walk-ins at all WCYFS locations and other satellite locations. The Specialist provides on-call support to the hospital and the Child Advocacy Center to provide crisis intervention, accompaniment, and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault and their family members and/or significant others. This position interacts with law enforcement, medical personnel, Victim Witness advocates, and Child Protective Services on behalf of the victim and in the victim's best interest. Other general duties include assisting with Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) clinics, participating in the 24/7 on-call Sexual Assault Response Team, providing educational presentations to various community service organizations, and other related duties as assigned. Bilingual/Spanish preferred, but not required.
